We are not an ETT (Spanish temporary work agency), and the difference matters
An Empresa de Trabajo Temporal hires out workers to be directed by the user company, under Ley 14/1994 (the Spanish act governing temporary work agencies). That is not what we do.
JOB AND SKILLED, S.L. provides construction services and specialised subcontracting under Ley 32/2006, de 18 de octubre, the act regulating subcontracting in the Spanish construction sector. Our people are employed and registered by us, work with our organisation, our direction and our means, and we answer for their occupational health and safety.
For you that means a commercial relationship between two companies, with a works or services contract, and not the hiring-out of staff.

Frequently asked questions from companies
Are you an ETT?
No. An ETT hires out workers to be directed by the user company. We provide a construction service or specialised subcontracting under Ley 32/2006: our people are employed and registered by JOB AND SKILLED, S.L., work under our organisation and our direction, and we answer for their documentation and their health and safety.
What documentation do you supply for the coordinación de actividades empresariales?
For every person entering the site: registration with the Seguridad Social, PRL training appropriate to the trade, a medical fitness assessment and a record of the PPE issued. Our system monitors the expiry dates and blocks the assignment of any worker whose training has lapsed.
How is the service invoiced?
As agreed in the quotation: by hours actually worked and recorded, by unit of work, or as a fixed-price project. Where it is by the hour, the basis is the digital time record, which you can consult in the client portal — not a sheet we fill in ourselves at the end of the month.
How quickly do you respond to a request?
It depends on the trade, the number of people and the start date. When you send the request we confirm receipt and tell you when you will have a specific proposal. We would rather give you a realistic date than a generic promise.
Do you work outside Barcelona?
Our base is Barcelona and its metropolitan area. For projects elsewhere in Catalonia, ask us: it will depend on the volume, the duration and the travel involved.
Can I see what is happening on my site without picking up the phone?
Yes, that is exactly what the client portal is for: which professionals have clocked in, how many hours have been recorded, the daily report with photographs and the project documents. It is the part of the service that sets us apart from a traditional contractor.
